My abstract paintings, prints and collages interpret my interest in the suffocating density of modern urban topography.
Using a variety of sticks, sponges and brushes I work with the elements of repetition, movement, line, texture and color to create mixed-media, urban landscapes.
My assemblages are crowded with the subdued, limited color of sandpaper, rubber, metal, felt and industrial devices that elucidate my feelings of the detachment, confinement and mechanization of living in the “urban machine”.
