3rd Street Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of photographs by visual artist, Neil Marcello.

Sweet Tooth (2014-2016) series comprises photographic prints that profile a selection of candy, based on the artist’s own personal consumption, and their availability over-the- counter to children and adults alike. This work considers the role of synthetic dyes and its influences within the manufacturing process of the confectionery industry. 

The resulting images present a raw and subversive view through the whimsical nature of the artificially produced sweets, conceived and set within the industrial tableaux.
